Integrations Guide for redOrange.ai

1. Introduction

Integrations in redOrange.ai allow you to connect with various supported business applications to automate compliance checks and gather necessary data. This guide explains how to connect, manage, and troubleshoot integrations within redOrange.ai.


2. Accessing Integrations

  • Log in as an Administrator or a user with Can Manage Frameworks or Can Manage Integrations permissions.

  • Navigate to Integrations from the main menu.


3. Overview of Supported Integrations

  • The Integrations page lists all business applications supported by redOrange.ai.

  • Each application card provides quick access to connect, disconnect, and view details about the integration.


4. Connecting Applications with OAuth Authentication

Step 1: Initiate Connection

  • For applications supporting OAuth authentication, click Connect on the application card.

  • You will be redirected to the business application’s authentication page.

Step 2: Grant Consent

  • Log in to your business application account.

  • Review and consent to the read-only permissions requested by redOrange.ai.

  • Once consent is granted, you will be redirected back to redOrange.ai.

Step 3: Verify Connection Status

  • On successful authentication, the application card will show the status as Connected.

Step 4: Disconnecting an Application

  • You may disconnect any connected application anytime by clicking the three-dot menu on the application card and selecting Disconnect.

Note: redOrange.ai only requests read-only permissions from all integrations to ensure data security.


5. Connecting Applications Without OAuth

  • Some applications do not support OAuth authentication.

  • For these, click Connect and follow the step-by-step integration guide linked on the application card.

  • Provide the required information (API keys, tokens, or other credentials) as per the instructions.

  • Click Connect after entering the necessary details.


6. Viewing Integration Details

  • Each application card includes a View Details option.

  • This section shows:

    • The category of the business application (e.g., Cloud, Security, Productivity).

    • The compliance controls linked to the integration.

    • The permissions redOrange.ai requires from the application.
